In 2006, Chef Justin won the Food Network Challenge Great American Seafood Cook-off in New Orleans for the country’s best domestic seafood dish. He has also worked internationally for premier hospitality and catering companies, including the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Raised in Florida, Chef Justin was exposed to the many cultures and cuisines from this diverse part of the country early on. His straightforward approach to cooking incorporates fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. “My philosophy is that cooking should always be fun, simple and flavorful,” he says.
Chef Bridget Baxley currently serves as a culinary ambassador and chef for Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. She prepares original recipes featuring Florida ingredients at popular events, including the Orlando Food and Wine Festival, PMA Fresh Summit and the Boston Seafood Expo.
Prior to her culinary career, Chef Bridget served more than 15 years in the United States Air Force. In fact, military service is a Baxley family legacy. She grew up on military bases around the world, including Cuba, Spain, Korea and Guam, which exposed her to wildly diverse cuisines at an early age. Her world travels also inspired her passion for health and wellness through food by cooking with natural, nutrient-rich ingredients.
Her mantra, “Fresh is best, eat the rainbow, and don’t over-complicate things,” reflects her belief that food can change your life for the good.
