2 Florida dragon fruit
½ Florida starfruit (carambola), sliced
4 Florida strawberries, halved
1 Florida orange, peeled and segmented
2 Florida Key limes, juiced (or use ½ regular lime)
Fresh sprigs of mint or banana leaves, for garnish
Cut the top third off each dragon fruit. Using a melon baller, scoop out a few spherical pieces from each. Then, use a spoon to hollow out the remaining flesh, creating a bowl to hold the other fruits.
Arrange the sliced starfruit, orange segments, strawberry halves, and dragon fruit spheres decoratively inside the hollowed-out dragon fruit shells.
Squeeze fresh Key lime juice evenly over the fruit salad. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs or banana leaves. Serve chilled, with honey on the side if desired.
