2 cups Florida green beans, rinsed, trimmed and cut into fourths
1 large Florida bell pepper, diced medium
3-4 ears Florida sweet corn, kernels removed from cob
1 large Florida yellow squash, diced medium
1 large Florida zucchini, diced medium
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (rosemary, oregano, thyme)
Florida hot sauce, to taste
1 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning, plus more to taste if needed
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
½ lemon, juiced
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
Preheat a large cast iron or sauté pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the butter, diced bell pepper and green beans. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add the corn and continue to cook ingredients while stirring. Add the seasoning blend, garlic, squash and zucchini. Just as the zucchini and squash start to get cooked, add the lemon juice, herbs and hot sauce. Stir ingredients and taste to adjust seasoning. Serve warm.
